ETHOS Genetics is a Colorado breeder, headquartered in Denver, that has been releasing seeds since 2015. Founder Colin Gordon built the company around one stated goal: seeds bred to maximize both quality and yield. In practice that means ETHOS picks standout phenotypes from previous releases and breeds with them, creating new varieties that keep their vigor and stability.

ETHOS names carry a lot of information, and the same strain name can appear more than once in the catalog. A quick key:
Mandarin Sunset is one of the early feminized lines ETHOS bred. It is sold out, so it is not available at Seeds & Clones, but it appears in the lineage of at least eight ETHOS releases we carry. Mandarin Cookies is the best-known name built on it.
Mandarin Cookies V2 crosses ETHOS Cookies #12 with Mandarin Sunset R1. It flowers in 8 to 10 weeks indoors, is rated high yielding (450 to 600 g/m² indoors, 450 to 750 g per plant outdoors), and ETHOS rates its THC very high, 25% and up. Flavor is fruity and mandarin-forward. Mandarin Cookies then went on to parent Crescendo, ETHOS Apex R1, Fanta Sea RBX and White Wedding RBX.

Crescendo RBX1 is one of ETHOS’s highest-yielding, highest-testing varieties. Its lineage is (Chem D x I95 x Mandarin Cookies) x (Headband x I95). It flowers in 9 to 11 weeks on a medium-height plant that may need training as it stretches, and it is rated very high yielding: over 600 g/m² indoors and over 750 g per plant outdoors. ETHOS notes it yields well even for newer growers.
Expect sour, gassy citrus with syrupy mandarin and an earthy base. The effect is heavy and sedating, and ETHOS itself does not recommend Crescendo for inexperienced consumers. Heavy trichome production makes it a common pick for extracts.
Crescendo has parented a long list of releases, including Psy-Op R1 (Crescendo x Bubba Kush R1, a quick 7 to 9 weeks), Liqueur R1 (Crescendo x Cherry Pie OG) and White Wedding RBX. The Crescendo Multi-Pack holds six hybrids from the Crescendo #2 and #16 phenotypes, crossed with partners including Cherry Pie, SFV OG, Tahoe OG, End Game #3 and Marshmallow OG, in 6-seed or 30-seed packs. For autoflower growers, Peach Crescendo RF3 Auto brings the line to a 10 to 12 week seed-to-harvest schedule.
Wrank’s lineage is Strawberry OG Cookies x End Game #3. Wrank R2 crosses two Wrank phenotypes together: indica-dominant, fruity and woody, 8 to 10 weeks, rated high yielding. Both Wrank #3 and Wrank #5 were used in many crosses in the current ETHOS catalog.
Wrank S1 is Wrank #5 crossed to itself. It keeps an Afghan-style structure: compact, sturdy and low maintenance, with dense, tangerine-sized buds. The nose is pungent, layered florals and citrus over gas, and the effect is sleepy and couch-locking.
Wrank crosses include Johnny Dang R1 (Wrank #5 x Marshmallow), M.C. Nuggets R1 (Martian Candy OG x Wrank), All The Sauces R1 (Original Zkittlez x Wrank) and Dirty Banana Gen 1 Fast. The Wrank Multi-Pack puts six of them in one 6-seed pack: Wrank S1, M.C. Nuggets, Rocket Queen, Sprinkles, Purple Nasty and Dirty Banana, all flowering in 56 to 63 days by ETHOS’s numbers.
The ETHOS grape family traces back to two phenotypes ETHOS pulled from Member Berry: Grape Diamonds and Pink Grapefruit. Grape Diamonds R2 crosses those two together. It flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and is rated very high yielding, over 600 g/m² indoors and over 750 g per plant outdoors, with grape and grapefruit flavor.
Planet of the Grapes RBX crosses the Grape Diamonds pheno with Chem D x I95. It is indica-dominant, grape-forward, flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and is rated high yielding. Planet of the Grapes then parented 10th Planet R1 (with the Pluto cut of Quattro Kush, one of the quicker ETHOS photoperiods at 7 to 9 weeks) and Planet of the Grapes Auto. Grape Diamonds also sits behind Grape Balls of Fire RBX (Grape Diamonds x Grape Cake x Grape Stomper).
Member Berry RBX1 is Skunk Berry x Mandarin Sunset: floral and fruity with a skunky edge, 8 to 10 weeks, rated high yielding with THC at 25% and up. Its real reputation is as a pheno-hunting line. Grape Diamonds and Pink Grapefruit both came out of Member Berry, and the Pink Grapefruit pheno also went into Early Lemon Berry RBX (Las Vegas Lemon Skunk x Member Berry). If you like to grow out a pack and keep the best plant, this is a proven place to start.
Lemon Cherry Pie R1 crosses Candy Store #25 with Cherry Pie. It flowers in 8 to 10 weeks indoors with a fruity, piney profile, dessert fruit up front and pine on the finish. It has already become a parent itself: Chama R1 is Lemon Cherry Pie x Martian Candy OG. Growers who like the cherry side of the catalog can also look at Cherry Pie OG S1 and Liqueur R1.
Candy Store RBX is Lemon Berry Candy OG x ETHOS Cookies #16. It grows large, so give it room, and flowers in 8 to 10 weeks with high yield ratings (450 to 600 g/m² indoors, 450 to 750 g per plant outdoors). Flavor is floral and fruity in a candy style, with THC rated 25% and up. ETHOS keeps returning to it: Candy Store #25 parented Lemon Cherry Pie R1, and Candy Store #38 x Marshmallow OG became Pillows R1. The parent line is also available as Lemon Berry Candy OG R2.
Autoflowers are a full program at ETHOS, not a side project: 18 of the 81 ETHOS listings we carry are autos, and most of them rest on a few parents: Banana Daddy, Lilac Diesel, Pluto and Piña. Most ETHOS autos finish 10 to 12 weeks from seed.
Banana Daddy RBX2 Auto pairs Banana Hammock Auto with Grand Daddy Purple. It is rated high yielding indoors (450 to 600 g/m²) and outdoors (450 to 750 g per plant) on a medium-height frame, with a floral, fruity, woody nose and THC rated 16 to 24%. Banana Daddy IBL Auto is the stabilized inbred version, rated 25% and up, and it is the parent ETHOS uses for Voila Auto and the whole Gen 1 Fast line. Prefer a photoperiod? Banana Daddy R1 is Grand Daddy Purple x Banana Hammock R1 and flowers in 7 to 9 weeks.
Lilac Diesel RBX2 Auto brings the Lilac Diesel #22 selection into the autoflower line by way of Pluto Auto. It grows large and strong for an auto, yields well, and smells of sweet haze, florals, lemon and pine. The effect is balanced: a lift in the head that settles into a relaxed body. It is the one ETHOS auto we carry in a 3-seed pack as well as a 6-seed pack. Lilac Diesel also shows up in Voila Auto, Bubble Gummy Auto and, on the photoperiod side, ETHOS Apex R1.
Pineapple Runtz Auto works a Pink Runtz clone into the Piña Auto line and crosses back to Piña to hold the autoflowering trait. The aim is Runtz sweetness with tropical fruit from the Piña side. Indoor yield is rated average (350 to 450 g/m²) and THC high, 16 to 24%. The Piña parent is available on its own as Piña RBX2 Auto (Pluto Auto x Peach OG).
Other ETHOS autos worth knowing: Lemon Cherry Gelato RF3 Auto, Banana Jealousy RF3 Auto, Pluto Cookies IBL Auto, Purple Thai RBX1 Auto and Zweet RBX2 Auto. Planet of the Grapes Auto is the slow one of the group, running more than 12 weeks from seed in exchange for a high yield rating.

Gen 1 Fast Flower seeds cross an elite ETHOS photoperiod with a stable feminized autoflower such as Banana Daddy Auto IBL. The result is still grown like a photoperiod, so you decide when it flowers, but it finishes sooner. Dirty Banana Gen 1 Fast (Wrank #5 x Banana Daddy Auto IBL) flowers in 7 to 9 weeks, 49 to 56 days by ETHOS’s count, stays compact and smells of sweet banana, creamy coconut and florals. The Gen 1 Duet Mix Pack pairs 5 Martian Fuel Gen 1 and 5 Pocket Rocket Gen 1 seeds, both rated at 8 to 10 weeks of flowering. Gen 1 seeds suit short outdoor seasons and indoor growers who want to turn rooms over faster without switching to autos.

Autoflowers are triggered to flower by age, regardless of light cycle, and most ETHOS autos finish 10 to 12 weeks from seed. Gen 1 Fast seeds cross a photoperiod with Banana Daddy Auto IBL, so they are grown like photoperiods but finish faster, in 7 to 10 weeks of flowering.
IBL is an inbred line bred for stability and uniformity, S1 means a plant was pollinated by itself, and BX means a backcross to one of the parents. R1, R2, RBX and RF3 mark feminized generations, following the same logic as F1, F2 and so on (R for reversed).
Yes, many are. End Game and Grandpa’s Cookies are beginner-friendly picks, and ETHOS notes Crescendo yields well even for newer growers. Autoflowers need no light change, which makes them an easy start.
