What is the difference between a clone and a cutting?
They are the same plant material. Every clone begins as a cutting taken from a mother plant - the difference is whether roots have formed yet. Our unrooted cuttings ship before rooting, while our rooted peat pellets and 3.5 inch soil/coco clones ship fully rooted.
Are your cannabis clones rooted?
Two of our three formats ship fully rooted: rooted peat pellets and 3.5 inch soil/coco pots. Unrooted cuttings ship as fresh cuttings and need to be rooted under a humidity dome before they go into your medium.
What condition do the plants arrive in?
Rooted clones arrive as established young plants, roughly a foot tall, typically one week to one month past transplanting and ready to go straight into your medium. Unrooted cuttings are never transplanted, so they arrive as fresh cuttings rather than established plants.

Q: How do I care for my clones after delivery?
A: Step 1: Unpacking the Clones
Carefully remove the clones from their packaging. Inspect the roots or peat pellet to ensure they are intact and undamaged.
Step 2: Hydrate the Clones
Mist the clones lightly using filtered or bottled water. Place them in a shaded area for 2–4 hours to help them acclimate before planting.
Step 3: Prepare the Planting Medium
Make sure your grow medium (soil, coco, hydro, etc.) is moist but not soaked. Create a hole large enough to fit the peat pellet. Note: Peat pellets are compatible with all grow mediums.
Step 4: Plant the Clones
Place the clone gently into the hole, covering the base of the stem lightly. Make sure the plant is upright and stable.
Step 5: Initial Care for Clones
If the clone appears wilted, maintain high humidity (70–80%) using a dome or clear cup. Mist daily as needed. Keep the environment warm (72–80°F) and lit with indirect light during the first few days.
